Guiding Lights LLC is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Residential Supports Specialist to join our team in Hopewell, VA! Responsibilities:

Provide direct care and daily living support to individuals in a residential setting
Assist residents with personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks
Implement individualized support plans and document progress accurately
Promote independence, dignity, and community inclusion for all residents
Administer medications and monitor health needs as directed
Respond to behavioral and emotional needs using approved support strategies
Communicate effectively with supervisors, families, and care team members

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required
Previous experience in residential care, direct support, or human services preferred
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
Compassionate, patient, and dependable with a person-centered approach
