Full-Time Dietary Aide
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 3.5 days per week | Every Other Weekend Required

Deerfield Supportive Living is seeking a dependable and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our dining services team. In this role, you will assist with preparing and serving nutritious, high-quality meals while creating a warm and welcoming dining experience for our residents. If you enjoy working with older adults and take pride in providing excellent customer service, we'd love to meet you!
Responsibilities
Assist with meal preparation, plating, and food service
Serve meals according to resident dietary needs and preferences
Wash dishes, sanitize equipment, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control guidelines
Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing food and kitchen supplies
Support inventory management and notify supervisors when supplies need to be replenished
Work collaboratively with the dietary team to ensure efficient meal service
Provide friendly, respectful, and compassionate service to residents, families, and visitors
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous food service, restaurant, or healthcare experience preferred
Ability to read and follow recipes and dietary instructions
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in senior living, assisted living, nursing home, or healthcare settings
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Experience serving individuals with specialized dietary needs
