Sr Architect, Cloud/App/AI Security

This position will help secure Baxter by maturing and updating tools and services related to development and usage of cloud services and solutions. This leadership role will work closely with Global IT portfolio, Infrastructure teams as well as Baxter’s business segments to ensure alignment with business needs without sacrificing Baxter’s security posture. Successful candidates will need a strong foundation in Information and Data security for large enterprises, excellent communication skills and strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts for large regulated enterprises with global cloud footprints. Your problem solving, technical and collaboration skills will be necessary to protect Baxter from cyber threats globally through well implemented technical controls. What you'll be doing: Design cybersecurity controls based on set policies/standards. Perform technical reviews with various IT team to ensure compliance with Baxter standards and policies. Assist other teams with implementation of security controls as the need arises. Collaborate with cross functional IT and business segment technology team to provide effective technical controls. Represent the cyber security function in multiple forums. Provide input and recommendations on cybersecurity policy, risk, and overall security best practices. Ability to travel as needed. What you'll bring: High school diploma or GED required. 8+ years’ experience in Cyber Security required. Strong knowledge of cloud architectures (AWS, Azure) and integration with enterprise applications and services. Experience with Cybersecurity frameworks including NIST 800-53 Rev 5, AI – OWASP Top10 for LLM, NIST AI Risk Management Framework (AI RMF), ENISA Framework for Good Cybersecurity Practices for AI, MITRE ATLAS. Cloud Security understanding including Cloud Platform, Cloud Security Tools, shared responsibility model. Proficiency in at least one leading AI platform such as Azure OpenAI, AWS, Meta Llama2 framework with deep understanding of hardening and configuration processes. Familiarity with enterprise security architecture for Cloud and SaaS applications. Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL. Knowledge of Open Systems Interconnection Basic Reference Model. Ability to perform threat modeling. Excellent communication skills. Ability to establish positive working relationships and influence other functions. Ability to work within a diverse global team.
