Schedule: Full-Time | Four 9-hour shifts or three 12-hour shifts | Monday–Friday

Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Hospital (VESH) in South Deerfield, MA is hiring an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our Surgery team. This full-time Veterinary Technician opportunity is ideal for a CVT, RVT, or LVT looking to strengthen advanced surgical, anesthesia, and specialty medicine skills while working alongside an experienced clinical team.

- Monday–Friday
- Assist with surgical case management from admission through discharge
- Scrub in and support orthopedic and soft tissue procedures
- Perform anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery for surgical patients
- Collect and process diagnostic samples including blood, urine, and fine needle aspirates
- Prepare surgical suites, instruments, and equipment for procedures
- Monitor hospitalized surgical patients and provide high-quality nursing care
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, doctors, and fellow technicians to ensure excellent patient outcomes
- Advocate for patients through attentive monitoring, compassion, and exceptional care
- Certified, Registered, or Licensed Veterinary Technician (CVT/RVT/LVT) required
- Strong anesthesia and surgical nursing experience preferred
- Detail-oriented with excellent technical skills and patient care standards
- Dependable, organized, and comfortable in a fast-paced specialty setting
- Positive team player with strong communication and time management skills
- Passionate about delivering exceptional patient and client care
- Fluent English speaking and reading skills required
