Job Summary:

Under general supervision, performs a variety of routine-to-skilled maintenance duties in the operation, alteration and corrective maintenance of building facilities, equipment, and utility systems. Performs a variety of scheduled and unscheduled mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and other related duties with priority given to patient comfort and safety. Requires sound judgment and rapid decision-making abilities during system failures to avoid injury to persons or damage to equipment. This worker may be required to perform any or all of the job duties listed below.

REQUIREMENTS 

  • High School graduate or equivalent, trade school or college a plus 

  • Must possess the ability to interpret service manuals  

  • Must possess the ability to perform water treatment chemical analysis and make chemical intake compensations.  

  • Must possess a current driver's license and be insurable under the Hospital auto policy. 

  • Maintain CPR certification.
