Job Summary: Performs a variety of functions in the preparation, processing, maintenance, verification, and reconciliation of driver payroll.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze, update, and reconcile payroll data as needed.
  • Enter information into driver payroll software.
  • Research, analyze, and record payroll discrepancies and process appropriate corrections.
  • Manage driver reimbursements through payroll.
  • Verify the accuracy of employee changes, including pay increases.
  • Determine if payroll data complies with legally mandated and company policies.
  • Attend workshops and trainings as directed.
  • Assist with various driver payroll tasks as they develop.
  • Maintain PTO balances for accurate reporting

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Detail oriented, with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, as well as in a team environment.
  • Ability to work with discretion and maintain confidentiality of information.
  • Ability to be flexible in a fast paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing.
  • Must have excellent computer skills and be proficient in Word and Excel.
  • Ability to recognize and respond to unsafe working conditions.

Special Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • Associate Degree or minimum 3 years relevant experience.
  • Must be willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as requested by Manager.
