Pay Range: $22.51 to $33.77 
Shift: Variable

Actual pay will be based on various factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency for the role, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, Kwik Trip gives 40% of pre-tax profits back to our coworkers with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of each coworker’s gross annual wage depending on company profitability and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more.


This individual will work within the Truck Shop Management team in managing the workflow of preventative and corrective maintenance for the Mechanics. 

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Work with the Shop Planners and Managers to define work plans and priorities
  • Ensure efficient workflow by monitoring and facilitating information and parts availability for mechanics, and adjusting labor resources
  • Work with Planners to adjust Mechanic work assignments and prioritization
  • Evaluate and improve current procedures
  • Assist co-workers with operational questions
  • Ensure safety and sanitation standards are being met
  • Assist management with various tasks as needed

 

Qualifications:

  • Three to five years of relatable work experience, including leadership / supervisory experience
  • Understand and comply with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and Hazardous Materials Regulations
  • Ability to operate a variety of computer programs
  • Willing to learn and perform a variety of job tasks
  • Accurate / detailed oriented
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and set a solid example in teamwork
  • Have excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Work in a fast paced, safety conscious environment

 

Specialized training or familiarization with various tractor / trailer combinations, petroleum tankers, heavy duty engines and the ability to obtain a Class A CDL with hazardous material and tanker endorsements are a plus.

 

Schedule: Two shifts available: 4 am - 2:30pm and 2pm - midnight. Monday to Wednesday and Wednesday-Saturday with alternating Wednesdays off.
