Cashier - Off Track Betting Cashier

Job Overview

Sells programs and forms to Off Track Betting patrons during the San Diego County Fair.  

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:

• 
  Provides excellent customer service by interacting courteously, answering questions accurately, and resolving any complaints for customers.
• 
  Processes cash transactions for form and program sales accurately.
• Follows opening and closing transaction procedures and reconciles daily transactions.

Qualifications

• 
  Excellent customer service, communications skills, and problem-solving skills.
• 
  Must be detail-oriented with the ability to apply basic mathematical skills.
• 
  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk and listen.
• 
  Must have basic knowledge of computer programs like Microsoft.
• 
  Detail-oriented and quick learner.
• Ability to work cooperatively with team members and others.

Working Conditions

• 
  Ability to stay stationary, sit, and/or stand for extended periods.
• 
  Move supplies up to 20 pounds.
• 
  Must be able to sit in a confined space for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to work Thursday – Sunday.
