Equine Educator (Seasonal, Part-Time)

 

Location: 6450 Elwood Rd, Sanger CA

Pay range: $16.90-$18.50

(Must have riding experience)

 

Western Camps, Inc. are looking for someone who enjoys working with children and has a passion for horses. This role involves teaching kids about horses — from care and behavior to riding and safety — in a fun, engaging, and educational way.


Responsibilities:

  • Teach children about horse care, behavior, and safety around horses
  • Lead riding lessons or horsemanship activities appropriate to skill level
  • Make learning fun and interactive by blending science, care, and riding
  • Supervise and support children to ensure a safe and positive environment
  • Care for horses and maintain a clean, organized learning space

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with horses (riding, care, or instruction)
  • Enjoys working with children and teaching in a patient, engaging way
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Reliability and responsibility around both kids and animals

Bonus Skills (Preferred):

  • Previous experience teaching or leading children’s programs
  • Knowledge of horse anatomy, behavior, or training method

 

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Afternoon shift
  • Flexible Schedule
  • Weekends (As Needed)
