About the Role:

Spot On Surveying, Inc. is looking for a motivated Entry Level Survey Crew member to join our team in Buda, TX! This is a fantastic opportunity to launch your career in land surveying, working alongside experienced professionals in the field. If you enjoy working outdoors, solving real-world problems, and building a skilled trade, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

Assist survey crew with field data collection, measurements, and boundary surveys
Operate and maintain surveying equipment including total stations, GPS/GNSS instruments, and levels
Set survey stakes, flagging, and markers accurately in the field
Clear vegetation and obstacles to establish survey lines
Record field notes and assist with documentation of survey data
Transport and care for equipment to and from job sites
Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment on all job sites

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required
No prior surveying experience required — on-the-job training provided
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and terrain
Physically capable of walking long distances, lifting equipment, and standing for extended periods
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-first attitude
Basic math skills and attention to detail
