Position Overview

The Customer Experience Specialist, known as a Deck Ambassador, serves as the face of British Swim School poolside during lessons. This role plays a vital part in delivering an exceptional customer experience by welcoming families, supporting instructors, and ensuring the swim deck operates smoothly and safely.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and break down the pool deck area before and after each shift
  • Check water chemistry and temperature prior to swim lessons
  • Welcome students and parents/guardians and assist with check-in procedures
  • Answer customer questions regarding accounts, student progress, and program information
  • Provide support to swim instructors and management during lessons as needed
  • Maintain a professional, organized, and family-friendly pool deck environment
Minimum Qualifications

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Evening or weekend availability (Monday-Thursday 3:00-7:00PM and Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM)
  • Professional, responsible, and positive attitude
  • Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ year of customer service experience
  • Lifeguarding, First Aid, CPR, and/or AED certifications are a plus
