POSITION SUMMARY

Cleaning, grinding, and removing spatter from welded parts, while performing quality checks on completed parts.

Hours: M-F, 5:00 A.M. - 1:30 P.M.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Grinding and Clearing welded parts of excess spatter.
Responsible for operating tools including grinders and sanders.
Quality check on completed parts looking for pinholes, contamination or other defects.
Working independently in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining high quality standards.
Focuses on continuous improvement by identifying, eliminating and preventing obstacles to efficient product flow, quality, and efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or GED preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively
Ability to use computers and related technology efficiently
Great attention to detail is required

The target hourly range is $18.50 - $20.00, depending upon qualifications and experience. The posted pay range reflects the expected compensation for a fully qualified candidate. Starting pay may be above or below this range based on job-related factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, and training needs.

In addition to hourly pay, the compensation package also includes eligibility for profit-sharing and monthly bonus opportunity.
