POSITION SUMMARY

The Machine Operator Apprentice is an entry-level manufacturing position designed for individuals who are interested in developing technical skills in a production environment. This role works alongside experienced operators to learn how to safely operate, monitor, and maintain production equipment while producing quality parts and products. No prior machine operating experience is required. We are looking for individuals who are dependable, safety-focused, eager to learn, and motivated to build a career in manufacturing.

Hours: M-F, 5:00 A.M. - 1:30 P.M.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate assigned machinery under close supervision, following standard work instructions and safety procedures.

Perform basic machine tasks such as loading/unloading materials and initiating cycles.

Training will be provided on:

  • How to set up and run a production machine from prints, sketches, and work instructions
  • Reading calibrated measuring tools (caliper, tape measure)

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to read a tape measure

The target hourly range is $18.50 - $20.00, depending upon qualifications and experience. This position qualifies for a shift differential of $3.00 per hour.  The posted pay range reflects the expected compensation for a fully qualified candidate. Starting pay may be above or below this range based on job-related factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, and training needs. 

In addition to hourly pay, the compensation package also includes eligibility for profit-sharing and monthly bonus opportunity. Additionally, for eligible full-time employees, we offer a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits; paid time off and paid holidays; 401(k) retirement plan and employee stock ownership plan.

Employment is contingent upon the satisfactory completion of a background screening, conducted in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
