POSITION SUMMARY

As a Welding Quality Inspector, you play a crucial role in ensuring our playgrounds are built with safety and durability in mind. You’ll inspect and evaluate welds for defects, verify compliance with specifications, and uphold strict quality standards. With a strong understanding of welding processes and sharp attention to detail, you help create reliable play spaces where kids can explore with confidence.

Hours: M-F 5:00 A.M.-1:30 P.M.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Checks every part to verify part number with the label
  • Checks every part for physical defect
  • Identifies defective parts requiring rework
  • Verifies correct quantities per work order
  • Interpret weld blueprints

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds 
  • Previous experience as a welder or weld inspector OR non-destructive testing certification/BA required
  • Basic computer knowledge 
  • Ability to read weld blueprints 
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred

The target hourly range is $19.00 - $22.00, depending upon qualifications and experience.  The posted pay range reflects the expected compensation for a fully qualified candidate. Starting pay may be above or below this range based on job-related factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, and training needs. 

In addition to hourly pay, the compensation package also includes eligibility for profit-sharing and monthly bonus opportunity. Additionally, for eligible full-time employees, we offer a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits; paid time off and paid holidays; 401(k) retirement plan and employee stock ownership plan.
