Job Summary & Responsibilities
Our client in Delano, Ca. is looking for a Registered Nurse to care for their patients in a correctional facility.
Pay Rate:
- Highest Guaranteed
- Paychecks every Friday
Shifts Available Currently:
- 10pm to 6am
- 2pm to 10pm
- 6am to 2pm
Duties:
- Monitor patient’s condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care.
- Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to physicians.
- Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients.
- Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.) and fill in patient’s charts.
- Adjust and administer patient’s medication(s) and provide treatments according to the physician’s orders.
- Provide instant medical care in emergencies.
- Supervise and train LVN's and nursing assistants.
- Expand their knowledge and capabilities by attending educational workshops, conferences etc.Â
Requirements
- Must have at least 1 year RN experience within the last 3 years
- Full-time
- Must have a current and active RN license
- Must have a current and active BLS from American Heart Association
- Must have clean background
- A valid nursing license.
