POSITION SUMMARY  

The essence of this role is to ensure quality plastic rotational molded parts through finishing techniques, such as trimming excess plastic material. In addition to creating a smooth surface on all plastic parts to prevent rough edges on play equipment. 

Hours: M-F, 2:00 P.M.-10:30 P.M.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Finish plastic parts using a variety of hand tools to finish edges, drill holes, etc. 
  • Identify quality problems and can escalate appropriately. 
  • Ensure accuracy of needed parts and inventory by ensuring proper inspecting and labeling techniques.

  • Ability to follow standardized work steps to ensure quality remains consistent. 
  • Works well with others and in a team environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED preferred 
  • Comfortable standing throughout the shift and bending/stooping while working on parts 
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.  
  • Comfortable utilizing handheld, or small power tools.

The target hourly range is $18.50 - $20.00, depending upon qualifications and experience. This position qualifies for a shift differential of $3.00 per hour. The posted pay range reflects the expected compensation for a fully qualified candidate. Starting pay may be above or below this range based on job-related factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, and training needs. 

In addition to hourly pay, the compensation package also includes eligibility for profit-sharing and monthly bonus opportunity. Additionally, for eligible full-time employees, we offer a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits; paid time off and paid holidays; 401(k) retirement plan and employee stock ownership plan.
