This leadership role manages all clubhouse functions including staffing, scheduling, guest services, pro shop operations, ensuring coordination with other departments.  Responsible for daily operations of the golf staff, shop and course including F&B offerings. Achieve appropriate staffing within the department utilizing proper interviewing and hiring procedures. Train and supervise the golf staff in an on-going training program. Schedule staff consistent with volume of business and guest needs within budgetary guidelines. Knows and applies federal, state and local laws governing the service of alcoholic beverages, as well as the resort's policies and regarding liquor services and liability. Solicit public groups, charities, repeat business and corporate daily outings. Control food, beverage, and golf inventories.  Coordinate each golf outing and event. Teaches golf lessons to customers. Maintain handicap for members. Attend all golf shows and marketing events. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
