What you'll be doing: QA Inspector Performs in process and final inspections using any manner of gaging needed, maintains quality records, assists Quality Auditor with duties, as necessary.

Utilize precision measuring devices and electronic test equipment to ensure compliance of product with customer specifications. Equipment includes but is not limited to: Vision System, Optical Comparator, RAM, Hardness tester, and hand held gages.
Maintain inspection records.
Maintain safe working conditions and conduct oneself in a way as to not endanger oneself or fellow employees.
Must be able to do the following with adequate training, instruction and experience:
Identify defective material and/or product with assistance if necessary
Make decisions as to acceptability of appearance and performance of product with assistance if necessary
Determine acceptable deviation from specifications or tolerances
Complete Non-Conforming material report and tag product
May be assigned to perform specialized quality tests to determine conformance to specific customer requirements.
Will be required to conduct or participate in any of the following:
Gaging studies (Gage R&R) and Gage Calibration
ISO 9001 or ISO 14001 Audits
Quality System Procedure Development
Customer complaint investigation
Quality Report preparation
Interact with SPC and Oasis measurement software

Additional Qualifications:

Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
Prior inspection experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications a plus.
Must be able to complete additional training courses when assigned.
Ability to use DOS based touch-screen computer.
Must have working knowledge of Windows based software.
