Neuroscience Lab Lead

Purpose/Objective of the Role: 

The Neuroscience Program is seeking a reliable, friendly, and organized student to manage the GAMELab. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain professional experience in conducting human neuroscience research and managing resources and personnel in a laboratory setting. As the lab manager for GAMELab, you will be the first point of contact for participants and lab personnel, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit human participants for various GAMELab projects.
  • Coordinate scheduling of lab personnel and data collection.
  • Collect behavioral and physiological data from human participants.
  • Monitor and order lab supplies.
  • Maintain lab equipment. 

Qualifications:

  • Must be a current student, preferably with interest in Neuroscience or Psychology.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), G-Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, calendar) and comfortable learning new software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Previous research experience is a plus, but not required.

 

Work Schedule:

  • Flexible hours between 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM Monday through Friday accommodating class schedules.
