Description

Parratt-Wolff, Inc., a Geotechnical and Environmental drilling firm with offices in Central NY, PA and NC is seeking an Office Administrator to join our rapidly expanding 100% employee-owned company. We offer an experience-based sign-on bonus and very competitive wages and benefits.


Parratt-Wolff, Inc. is looking for an organized and self-motivated Office Administrator who will be responsible for providing administrative support to our office personnel and field crews. In order to be successful in this position you should be detail oriented, professional and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ultimately, a successful Office Administrator should ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of our office.


Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
  • Maintain the current filing system
  • Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers
  • Book travel arrangements (hotels, vehicle rentals, airline reservations)
  • Submit and reconcile expense reports
  • Coordinate office services with vendors
  • Provide general support to visitors, office and field staff
  • Performing other relevant duties when needed


Requirements

Requirements and skills

  • Proven experience as an Office Administrator
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, Word, Outlook and Access, in particular)
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • High School diploma; additional qualification as an Office Administrator or Administrative Assistant will be a plus
