Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Driving Patrol in Delphi, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. This is a driving post, offering the opportunity to respond across the location with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity while putting people first.

Pay Rate: $17.25 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a food and beverage location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify security-related concerns and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, and/or visitors while following site protocols for deliveries, pickups, and restricted areas.
• Support order at the location by observing operations, communicating with site personnel, and helping to address security-related issues that may arise during routine activities and/or after-hours coverage.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
