Opportunity:  Director of Sales & Marketing

As Director of Sales & Marketing, you will craft and execute strategies that connect guests to unforgettable experiences while delivering exceptional revenue results. This role invites a dynamic leader ready to blend analytics, creativity, and relationship-building into a powerful commercial vision.

Area Director of Sales – Regional Director of Sales – Corporate Director of Sales – VP of Sales

 

Your Focus

  • Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans aligned with the hotel’s revenue goals, lifestyle positioning, and defined budget.
  • Champion a strong digital and e-commerce presence, optimizing internet marketing, social media, and online distribution channels.
  • Partner closely with Revenue Management to implement pricing, channel, and mix-of-business strategies that maximize profitability.
  • Identify opportunities across all segments, including group, transient, corporate, leisure, and social events.
  • Leverage market intelligence, analytics, and competitive data to shape forward-thinking sales initiatives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, local partners, and community organizations to drive visibility and revenue.
  • Position and promote the hotel’s unique offerings, including its rooftop experiences, culinary venues, and lifestyle amenities.
  • Lead, inspire, and develop the sales team through coaching, performance management, and professional development.
  • Prepare, implement, and maintain a comprehensive annual marketing plan with measurable objectives.
  • Utilize consultative selling techniques to negotiate and close business that delivers mutual value.
  • Represent the hotel through outside sales calls, networking events, and community engagement activities.
  • Ensure alignment with brand standards and company values.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.

 Your Background and Skills

  •  Four-year college degree required; additional/advanced degree coursework in business administration, marketing and communications a plus.
  • Previous sales experience in a comparable full service hotel.
  • Public relations and community marketing experience required.
  • Proficient in use of Excel, Word, Delphi and access database tools.
  • Hilton experience is preferred.

Work Environment and Context

  • Work schedule varies and may include occasionally working on holidays, weekends.
  • Required to sit for extended periods, lift up to 10 pounds, bend, reach, use hands and fingers to operate keyboard.
  • Moderate travel between hotel and client’s locations required.
