About the Job:

The Seagate is seeking a detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to support the daily operations of our housekeeping team. This role plays a vital part in upholding the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation across the property. The Housekeeping Supervisor will assist in leading, training, and motivating staff, conducting inspections to ensure quality, and maintaining a welcoming environment for all guests and members. With a focus on efficiency, attention to detail, and service excellence, this position contributes directly to creating exceptional guest experiences.

What You Do:

  • Recruit, hire, and onboard new team members as needed.
  • Develop and maintain weekly schedules aligned with occupancy and project demands.
  • Manage bi-weekly payroll processes, including time clock edits and documentation.
  • Monitor staff performance, providing guidance and corrective feedback as necessary.
  • Conduct regular training sessions on job duties, hotel policies, safety, and security procedures.
  • Facilitate monthly departmental meetings and daily pre-shift briefings, documenting attendance and discussion points.
  • Ensure adherence to cleaning protocols, chemical usage guidelines, and guest room setups.
  • Implement and oversee deep cleaning schedules for guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
  • Conduct daily inspections of public areas, grounds, storage, kitchen, and employee facilities.
  • Supervise laundry operations to maintain productivity and safety standards.
  • Enforce uniform standards and train staff in guest interaction best practices.
  • Coordinate closely with Front Desk Agents to optimize guest room turnover and service levels.
  • Manage inventory levels to support productivity and guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and security procedures, including room access, lost and found, and chemical handling.
  • Collaborate with Maintenance to ensure operational equipment is maintained and guest experience is upheld.
  • Maintain a positive leadership presence, overseeing all aspects of hotel operations and guest satisfaction.
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field preferred.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to high standards.
  • Flexibility in scheduling and task prioritization.
  • This is a hands-on role requiring 70% active participation.
  • Availability to work weekends, nights, and holidays as business demands.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
  • Capable of lifting, carrying, and pushing up to 50 pounds, and handling push carts up to 250 pounds.
