About the Job

We are seeking an attentive and team-oriented Food/Drink Runner to support the smooth operation of our dining outlets at The Seagate. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering prompt, polished service.

The Food/Drink Runner will be responsible for efficiently delivering food and beverages from the kitchen to guests, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and presentation standards. This position plays a key role in supporting the front-of-house team and contributing to a seamless dining experience.

What You Do:

  • Warmly greet and acknowledge all guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere in line with company standards.
  • Deliver food and beverages to tables accurately and promptly, ensuring that all orders meet guest expectations.
  • Set and clear tables for service, maintaining high standards of sanitation and cleanliness throughout the dining area.
  • Assist servers and kitchen staff as needed, providing support during busy periods to ensure efficient service.
  • Adhere to company safety and security policies; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management, and complete all required safety training.
  • Carry out other reasonable tasks as requested by supervisors to support overall operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous experience in a full-service restaurant is required.
  • Strong communication skills are essential, including the ability to speak English fluently and interact effectively with both front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) staff.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor in alignment with company standards.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Ability to reach overhead, bend, twist, pull, and stoop as needed.
  • Capability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift.
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
