Reporting to the Director of Nursing for Trauma/Neurosciences, the Trauma Program Manager (TPM) provides administrative, operational, and quality oversight of the hospital's trauma program in collaboration with the Trauma Medical Director (TMD). The TPM ensures compliance with American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma (ACS COT) standards, state trauma regulations, and organizational policies. This role is responsible for trauma program performance improvement, registry oversight, outreach coordination, and preparation for ACS verification and state designation. The TPM oversees the PI coordinators, Registrars, and Injury Prevention Coordinator. This manager will work closely with Emergency Services, Surgical Services, ICU, Ancillary Departments and Hospital Leadership.

Education:

Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required or related field.

Preferred: Master's degree- Nursing or related healthcare focus

Experience:

Trauma clinical experience (ED or ICU preferred)

Trauma program management, trauma leadership, or quality management experience

Five (5) years clinical experience in Emergency or Trauma nursing

Working knowledge of Quality Improvement process and Joint Commission standards

Knowledge of ACS COT standards and trauma PIPS processes

Knowledge of Florida Department of Health Trauma Standards

Certifications:

Required: Registered Nurse - licensed in the State of Florida. American Heart Association BLS and ACLS; TNCC

Preferred: PALS and ENPC
