Reyes Fleet Management is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician  to perform maintenance and repairs throughout our facility in Walker, LA. 

 

Shift: Full-Time l Sunday-Thursday 7:00AM-3:30PM

Pay: $22.00-$25.00/HR based on experience and qualifications

Position Responsibilities:  

  • The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks and repairs, skills including mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, and building and installing lighting and plumbing  
  • As the Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will maintain interior and exterior of property by painting, remodeling and repairing amenities
  • You will monitor and maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and modifications as well as keep areas clean and organized 
  • You will use a variety of hand and power tools to complete maintenance and repair tasks while also operating forklifts and heavy equipment
  • You will communicate daily with the Maintenance Manager and team about repairs and faulty operations 
  • Other duties as assigned 

Required Skills and Experience:  

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 1 to 2 plus years of related experience
  • Ability to frequently lift 50 pounds, occasionally lift 100 pounds 
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations to operate applicable company vehicles

Preferred Education and Experience:  

  • Technical School Certification
