Job Overview:
We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Collections Manager to join our team in Denison, Texas. In this role, you will lead our collections teams, ensure compliance with regulations, and implement effective collection strategies. You will also be responsible for coaching and mentoring your team to achieve high performance and ensure timely payments from commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve collection goals and meet targeted liquidation rates for mid and large balance portfolios.
  • Oversee the activities of the collections team, providing coaching on policies and procedures.
  • Assist team members with challenging calls and guide them through difficult collection situations.
  • Monitor performance metrics to ensure that the collections team is meeting or exceeding its targets.
  • Provide leadership in quality and process improvement initiatives to enhance the overall performance of the collections department.
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations and company policies throughout the collections process.
  • Play a key role in hiring and training new team members, equipping them with the necessary tools to succeed.
  • Use analytical skills to assess client performance, identify trends, and implement process enhancements to drive success.
  • Foster a positive team environment while motivating and developing staff.

Qualifications:

  • Solid collections agency experience
  • 3rd party collections
  • Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record of developing and motivating teams.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage and develop a fully remote team of commercial collectors.
  • Demonstrated experience managing mid and large balance portfolios and achieving liquidation rate targets.
  • Strong collection strategy skills, with the ability to handle both complex and routine collections.
  • Analytical abilities, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience using it to analyze client data.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to mentor and provide guidance to team members.
  • CUBS experience a plus
  • Bilingual - English/Spanish a plus
