Role:
The department of Biological & Physical Sciences at Grayson College is seeking to fill a full-time faculty position in Biology. The successful candidate will teach lower-division undergraduate lecture and laboratory classes in microbiology, anatomy and physiology, general biology, and nutrition. Summer teaching assignments may be available but are not guaranteed.聽 This position instructs in a variety of settings and formats, including dual credit, online, hybrids, distance learning, and occasionally weekend/evenings.

路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Previous successful experience teaching in discipline at a high school, university and/or community college is required.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Experience tracking student learning outcomes, analyzing resultant data, and implementing improvement plans is required.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Must have strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple assignments.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Must have demonstrated ability to engage students in the learning process and proven commitment to student success.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Must maintain collegial attitude with college community as well as outside entities.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Must exhibit cooperative attitude and excellent team skills.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Position requires excellent computer and multimedia skills.
