The Delivery Center Porter is responsible for cleanliness and organization of the shop and warehouse areas,
transporting trucks onsite and offsite as needed to aid in the production process, pulling/kitting parts in support
of the production process, and occasionally assisting in repair of vehicles as needed to support the Production
process.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain a clean and professional personal appearance.
- Keep company vehicles clean and properly maintained.
- Ensure Shop area is clean, safe, and properly maintained.
- May at times conduct minor repairs as directed.
- Assist Parts and Production departments as needed.
- Transport trucks to various sites as needed to aid in production processes.
- Assist with final delivery of vehicles including coordinating with transport companies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Class B CDL preferred but not required.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
The Delivery Center Porter will interact with all Parts, Production, Service, Sales, and Body Shop staff
as the scope of the porter’s duties will overlap across departments. This position might have occasional contact
with customers.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Must possess or be able to obtain a Class A or B CDL. Motor
Vehicle Record must adhere to TLG MVR guidelines. A mechanical aptitude is recommended.
