Maintenance Supervisor

Habitat America, LLC is seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor in Annapolis, MD for Bay Forest Senior Apartments. This fast growing, property management company is largely based in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Applicants who are qualified for this position have 3+ years prior apartment maintenance experience. Intermediate to advanced experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliance repair. HVAC & CFC certifications are a plus! Extensive Plumbing experience is desired.

This position is responsible for all technical matters related to general apartment maintenance. In addition to technical maintenance tickets, this position will assist with unit turnovers and be part of the after-hours on-call rotation.

• 3+ years prior maintenance supervisory experience desired
• Energetic, self-motivated individual who is able to work as a team
• Experience with apartment maintenance; appliance troubleshooting, plumbing, electrical, drywall, and painting
• HVAC/CFC Certification is preferred
• Must be able to understand and oversee work performed by contractors and county.
• Must have a pleasant and professional demeanor at all times
• Must have reliable transportation to get to work and respond to on-call emergencies
• The ability to exert 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly
• Availability for emergency situations at the property, including an on-call rotation
