Work hours: Full Time, Evening Shift (12 noon to 12 midnight), 3 shifts, 36 hours per week.聽Weekend and holiday requirements. Complete benefits available.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Fast-Paced, high-volume department averaging 100 - 200 patients/day

What You Will Do
Provides Safe Patient Care聽Under Physician Delegation:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Administers IV fluid without additives, saline flush, IV antibiotics, all IV medications excluding controlled and RSI medications. ACLS drugs (including drips) using barcode medication verification (BMV) during medication administrations. All IM and oral medications excluding controlled drugs. Plans the care of the patient
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Completes accurate documentation in the electronic health record
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Provides consistent attention to airway, intake, elimination, sleep, rest, mobility and hygiene needs
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Applies antiembolic stockings and sequential compression devices
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Cervical collar management
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 External defibrillation
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Nasal cannula or oxygen mask application
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Oral airway insertion and removal
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ultrasound-guided peripheral IV Access
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Draw blood from ports
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Other duties as assigned by the care team

Here鈥檚 What You Need
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 3 months paramedic experience or completion of a paramedic internship, required. 1 year Paramedic experience in EMS or Fire Dept preferred
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 EMT-P - Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic required or
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 LP - Licensed Paramedic
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 90 days of hire required and
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required and
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support, within 90 days of hire required and
CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training (ED Only), within 60 days of hire required.
