What You'll Do
- Perform final inspections on all outgoing products, including dimensional checks, weld quality, and galvanizing verification
- Accurately measure parts using tape measures, micrometers, and calipers
- Verify galvanizing thickness using coating thickness gauges
- Conduct in process and final audits of products and manufacturing processes at multiple stages of production
- Interpret mechanical drawings and specifications to confirm dimensional, welding, and quality requirements
- Convert between fractions and decimals, as well as metric and imperial (U.S. standard) measurements
- Audit and verify product identification and traceability throughout production
- Maintain accurate inspection, audit, and training records, including scanning and organizing electronic files
- Support ongoing Quality Management System (QMS) documentation updates and improvements
- Manage and track gage calibration to ensure measurement accuracy and compliance
What You'll Need
- Proven ability to accurately use a tape measure and work confidently with fractions of an inch
- A strong understanding of linear measurements (feet/inches, decimals in both imperial and metric units)
- Strong computer skills, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and electronic file management; SAP and Salesforce experience is a plus
- Solid math, analytical, and problem solving skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet inspection deadlines
- High level of attention to detail, especially during repetitive or detailed inspections
- Willingness and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, or dry)
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights when required
- Ability to pass a near vision eye exam (with or without corrective lenses), including reading Jaeger #2 or smaller at 12 inches (or equivalent)

- High School Diploma or GED required
