Job Description

As a Security Officer - Full-Time Retail Patrol Driver in Denton, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents while supporting customers and staff with clear communication. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license that meets Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to customers, associates, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout sales floors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted activity; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor store activity and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and maintenance or operational concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including providing verbal direction, documenting events, and coordinating with local authorities when requested.
• Complete required reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation accurately and promptly, using required systems and/or post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Loss Prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
