Job DetailsJob Location: DENTON WATER - DENTON, TX 76205Position Type: Full TimeJob Shift: DayTexas Meter & Device is seeking a full-time warehouse worker in the Denton, TX area. We are looking for individuals with: · Strong logistical skills · Strong problem-solving skills · Strong Mechanical skills · Strong Customer Service skills · Great driving record and habits · Great attitude · Attention to details · Can pass a background check and drug screening · A PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG SCREEN WILL BE REQUIRED. Under the general direction of the Project Manager or Field Supervisor, warehouse personnel will manage all logistics in the warehouse including inventory, staging areas and overall order of the facility. Responsibilities include: · Manage new inventory sets for electric, water and/or gas devices · Manage old inventory as it arrives at the end of the day · Maintain the order and cleanliness of the warehouse facility · The safe use of the forklift and pallet jack · Maintaining old device cataloging and pallet wrapping · Assist managers and supervisors in maintaining daily processes as it pertains to inventory and fleet. · Maintain accurate records of materials needed for use and reorders · Other duties and tasks as assigned or necessary QualificationsRequirements: · Previous warehouse experience strongly preferred · Mechanical aptitude is necessary · Ability to work with minimal supervision · Ability to stand on feet, bend or stoop for a prolonged period of time. Some work is performed outdoors and through inclement weather as necessary · Ability to carry out duties in a safe and efficient manner · Stable Multi-year Work History · Attention to Detail · Dependability and Reliability · Good Communication Skills (speaking, reading and writing) · Must have a valid driver's license and an EXCELLENT driving record. For insurance purposes, must be at least 21 years of age and have a minimum of 3 years of personal or professional driving experience. Must have ability to safely operate a company vehicle when needed. · Must have steel or composite toe work boots · Must have own personal Smart phone · Good understanding of MSWord and Excel · Additional Requirements: Background check clearance including drug screening and I-9 documentation as required by law Salary Info: $20.00/hour Generally, Monday – Friday with weekend work as needed to support the Project and Project Manager.
