DSST Substitute Teacher (employed through HelloSubs)

DSST Substitute Teachers (via HelloSubs) provide exceptional support to our teachers and students by providing half-day or full-day instruction for vacancies across our 16 schools. As a Substitute Teacher, you will have the flexibility to choose the positions that suit your interests and experiences best. Our Substitutes can serve up to five days per week – the perfect role for someone looking for flexibility and a meaningful way to support educational equity in Denver. We have a partnership with HelloSubs to source our substitutes. During your discussion with HelloSubs, they will inquire about your grade level and campus specific preferences. Minimum qualifications include eligibility to work in the U.S., bachelor's degree preferred but not always required, and no substitute license required for DSST Public Schools. The role involves standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, lifting/moving items up to 30 pounds, and operating a computer keyboard and other office equipment.
