Title: Project Manager – Heavy Civil / Infrastructure Construction
Location: North Denver, CO (Hybrid – 3 days in office / 2 remote)
Pay: $120,000 Base + $10K–$20K Annual Bonus + Vehicle/Allowance + Full Benefits
WHY THIS ROLE (READ THIS FIRST)
This is a Project Manager role with a growing heavy civil contractor delivering mission-critical U.S. infrastructure—water systems, dams, flood control, locks, and large-scale mechanical civil works.
This role is ideal for a high-performance PM getting lost in a large corporate GC environment due to lack of visibility, limited promotions, or a general disinterest in corporate politics and networking. In this role, top performers are noticed and rewarded.
This role involves real full-cycle project ownership, visible collaboration with C-Suite members, and the ability to grow into senior leadership.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
You’ll run ~3 active infrastructure projects at a time (typically $1M–$10M, 12–18 month cycles), owning the full lifecycle:
- Lead projects from estimating → award → procurement → execution → closeout
- Manage schedule, cost, subcontractors, vendors, and field coordination
- Partner closely with superintendents (no rigid silos—true collaboration)
- Drive P6 schedules, cost tracking, forecasts, and change orders
- Ensure projects stay on-time, on-budget, and execution-ready
- Coordinate across field + office teams on complex civil systems
- Support preconstruction and bid strategy when needed
- Utilized Microsoft Suite, Excel, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, RMS
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- $120K base salary (DOE)
- $10K–$20K annual bonus (performance + company results)
- Company vehicle / allowance
- Hybrid schedule (3 office / 2 remote)
- ~40-50-hour work weeks (flexible, project-driven)
- 100% employee healthcare coverage (PPO/HSA options)
- 80% employer covered dependent healthcare premiums
- Dental + vision
- 401(k) with 6% match (eligible after 6 months)
- Flexible PTO + holidays
- Relocation support (case-by-case)

- 1–2+ years as a Project Manager with a large Civil/Commercial General Contractor
- 3+ years in heavy civil, federal, industrial, or infrastructure construction
- Full lifecycle project experience (estimating through closeout)
- Strong scheduling, cost control, and subcontractor coordination experience
- Consistent career progression (not frequent job hopping)
