What you will be doing:
The person in this role will be responsible for pulling, transporting, and providing customers with parts accurately and efficiently. This role will involve driving between customer locations in a company vehicle, customer communication, and related parts department duties.
Responsibilities
- Delivering parts to technicians, customers and vendors as needed.
- Process van replenishments: Pull parts, process paperwork and deliver as necessary.
- Responsible for next day air parts deliveries to technicians within designated time frame
- Pick up miscellaneous items from technicians, customers and vendors (i.e. parts, used oil or batteries, paperwork, etc.).
- Assist in check-in of parts shipments, restock parts on shelves after receiving process is complete.
- Assist in maintenance of the parts department
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
- Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Ability to safely drive a company vehicle
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be able to lift 50lbs, bend, kneel and reach.
- Must be safety-oriented and communicate safety concerns to management as soon as they are observed.
- Good communication skills with customers and internal teams
