About the Role:

The Sr CorporateActionsSpecialistisresponsibleforprocessingCorporateActionsactivity across multiple security types. The team is responsible for managing all tasks and responsibilities associatedwithmandatoryandvoluntarycorporateactions,includingdividends,mergersandacquisitions, spin-offs,andstocksplits.Theprimaryfocusofthisroleistomitigatecompanyrisk/financialexposurewhile workingwithcounterpartiestoensuretimelyandaccurateexecutionofclientinstructions.Musthavestrong analytical skills and be able to work closely with other internal departments across CPT. Handles moderately complex work.

  • Processcashandsecuritiestransactionsinthetrustaccountingsystemrelatedto corporate actions across multiple security types.

  • Ensurealltransactionsareprocessedaccuratelyandaccordingtotherelevant documentation.

  • Ensurealldocumentationrelatedtothetransactionisappropriatelyarchivedand noted in Salesforce.

  • Proactivelycommunicatecounterpartiesviaphonetovalidaterequestsandto understand the path to completion for each transaction.

  • Quicklyremediateanyissuesorconcernsarisingfrom clientorcounterpartycontact.

    Communicatefindings toendclientsas needed.Ensureallproceduresrelatedto client contact are adhered to.

  • Proactivelycommunicatewithclientsviaphoneto advisethem ofthestatusoftheir request.

  • Quicklyremediateanyissuesorconcernsarisingfromtheclientcontact.

  • Ensure all procedures related to client contact are adhered to.

  • Processcomplexactivitiesrelatedtoselectalternativeinvestmenttypes.

  • Ensurealldocumentationrelatedtothetransactionisappropriatelyarchivedandnoted in Salesforce.

  • Otherdutiesasassigned.

About You:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent certificate required.

  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.

  • 5 years Financial Services experience required. 

  • Demonstrated data entry skills required.

  • Previous Financial Services experience in a transaction processing environment required.

The pay range for this role is $23.98 to $29.00.

The pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location. The role may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, and those details will be provided during the recruitment process.

Primary Location: Ability to work fully onsite at posted location(s).
