Position Summary:

The Electrical Foreman will be responsible for leading crews on commercial, residential, and multifamily projects. The Electrical foreman oversees installations, ensures work is performed to code and on schedule, and serves as the main point of contact between the field team, project managers, and clients.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Proper Tools and equipment are present on the job.
  • Ensure installations meet NEC and local codes, project specifications, and safety regulations.
  • Reduce cost by ensuring efficient and effective layout and routing of equipment.
  • Plan and layout project work, making detailed work schedules.
  • Effectively communicate project issues or concerns to the Project Management team
  • Perform site inspections and identify potential issues before they impact progress.
  • Communicate daily with Project managers about progress, materials, change orders, and issues.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and company vehicles.
  • Effectively manage crews of at least 5
  • Maintain detailed and accurate job documentation, including timesheets, material orders, and field reports

 

Requirements:

  • Licensed Journeyman Electrician
  • 5+ years of electrical experience with at least 2 years in a leadership role
  • Deep knowledge of the NEC and local building codes
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to run multiple crews and phases of a project.
  • Competent with laptops/tablets for reporting, scheduling, and email communications.
  • OSHA 30 certification
  • NFPA 70E
  • Valid driver’s license



Working Environment:

  • Field-based leadership role; will work on active construction sites.
  • May require overtime, weekends, and travel between job sites
  • Must wear appropriate PPE and always enforce safety rules.
  • Moderate noise level.
