Explore our open roles and be part of a company that’s raising the bar for airport dining.   The Opportunity:  High Flying Foods is looking for an experienced Bartender to join our New Belgium Brewing Restaurant located at Denver International Airport. You will join a dynamic and positive team environment, maintaining the highest standards of service and operational excellence. This position requires availability from 6:00am-10:00pm, 7 days a week.   What We Offer: Compensation: $16.27 per hour plus tips (or $19.29 per hour when not earning tips) Free RTD EcoPass and airport parking Free employee meals during shifts Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance Medical and dependent care flexible spending accounts (FSAs) Paid Vacation: 1 week (accrued bi-weekly based on hours worked) Paid Sick Leave: Up to 48 hours annually (accrued bi-weekly based on hours worked) Up to 80 hours of Public Health Emergency leave (as declared) 401(k) retirement plan with 5% company match  Opportunities for career growth and advancement   Responsibilities: Welcome guests and guide patrons to help determine beverage preferences, make recommendations, upsell and take drink orders Check identification and strictly follow all ABC guidelines to ensure customers are of legal age to purchase alcohol Select and mix ingredients, garnish glasses, and serve beverages and food orders to customers Inform customers about new menu items and specials Manage inventory and order supplies to ensure bar and tables are well-stocked Serve food and remove used dishware, cutlery and glassware in a timely fashion Carefully assess customer alcohol intake to avoid overserving Adhere to all food safety, service, and quality regulations Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to patrons, balancing the cash register Maintain a clean work environment by helping clean the dining area, tables, bar area, including and washing glasses, utensils, and applicable equipment Other duties as assigned QualificationsQualifications: 2+ years of high-volume bartending experience Open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays Ability to verbally communicate with customers and coworkers Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and kneel for the duration of shift RBS Certification must be obtained within the first week of employment    Our Commitment to Equal Opportunity: We are committed to creating an inclusive and diverse workplace where all employees are treated with respect, dignity, and fairness.
