What You'll Do:
Â
- Teaches fundamental and advanced athletic skills to elementary school aged athletes in order to prepare them for competition
- Becomes an expert on the rules, strategies, and techniques required for the sport as well as knowledgeable about sports equipment, physical fitness and safety
- Supports the coordination and recruitment of student participants
- Attends Professional Development opportunities and Program meetings

What You’ll Need:
Â
- Minimum High School Diploma/GED
- Lead for racial and educational excellence and work to dismantle systems of oppression and inequity in our community, along with believing in and supporting all students so they feel seen and heard with access to high quality education.Â
- Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with us. Â
- Have the ability with or without accommodations to meet the physical demands of the position.
Â
Required:
Â
- Three years of experience in designated sport
- Previous coaching experience or experience working with urban youth and or teaching experience preferred
