YOUR MISSION
True Anomaly is seeking a talented and driven Electrical Engineer II to support the rapid design, development, and testing of high-reliability electrical systems for our spacecraft programs. In this role, you will execute across the full hardware development lifecycle — from requirements capture and schematic design through bring-up, integration, and production — while collaborating closely with cross-functional engineering teams. You will bring hands-on technical depth, a strong sense of ownership, and the initiative to contribute meaningfully from day one.Â
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute requirements capture, component selection, analysis, schematic capture, prototyping, bring-up, debugging, documentation, manufacturing, and test for electrical designsÂ
- Support the rapid design, development, and testing of high-reliability electrical systems for spacecraft engineering and development effortsÂ
- Collaborate with system architecture development across cross-functional teamsÂ
- Participate in preliminary and critical design reviews to support program requirementsÂ
- Conduct derating analysis and worst-case circuit analysisÂ
- Support system-level integration of electrical subsystems, including hardware and software interfacesÂ
- Perform first article testing, unit-level testing, and production testingÂ
- Contribute to the development and execution of validation and qualification testing campaigns to ensure reliable hardwareÂ
- Develop and maintain documentation for electrical systems and components, including design specifications, test plans, and operating proceduresÂ
- Support hardware through production, integration, and launchÂ
- Collaborate with experts from other teams and departments to improve system efficiency, manufacturability, and reliability, and to ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and quality assurance processesÂ
- Contribute to continuous improvement of electrical engineering processes and practicesÂ
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related fieldÂ
- 2-4 years of professional experience in electrical engineeringÂ
- Proficiency with PCB design in Altium Designer or equivalentÂ
- Solid understanding of applicable codes and standards including PCB and PCBA designÂ
- Strong written and verbal communication skillsÂ
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related fieldÂ
- Experience with spacecraft electrical system design and testingÂ
- Familiarity with spacecraft power systems, avionics, and communication subsystemsÂ
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to spacecraft electrical systemsÂ
- Embedded firmware development experienceÂ
- Experience with simulation tools such as SPICE, MATLAB, and SimulinkÂ
- Knowledge of IPC standards and specifications including IPC-610, IPC J-STD-001, and other relevant PCB design and assembly standardsÂ
- Experience working in a fast-paced, startup environment or a similarly dynamic settingÂ
COMPENSATION
- Base Salary: $90,000-$120,000
- Equity + Benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, HRA/HSA options, PTO and paid holidays, 401K, Parental LeaveÂ

- Ability to maintain or obtain TS//SCI clearanceÂ
- Work Location—this role will be onsite at our Centennial, CO location , with travel to other sites as needed.
