Job Description

Aramark Facilities Management is hiring Seasonal Part-Time Snow Removal Equipment Operators to support winter operations at Denver International Airport in Denver, Colorado. In this role, you'll help keep airport parking lots safe and accessible by plowing snow and applying ice control products during winter weather events. This is a hands-on outdoor position that works around moving vehicles and changing weather conditions, making it ideal for candidates with landscaping, groundskeeping, dirt work, construction, equipment operation, or general labor experience. Operators may use snow removal equipment such as plow trucks, skid steers, and front-end loaders, though prior snow removal experience is not required. Available shifts include 3:00 AM to 3:00 PM or 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM during snow events. Compensation Data

COMPENSATION: The Hourly rate for this position is $19.48 to $19.48. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

  • Plow snow and remove winter weather hazards from airport parking lots and pedestrian access areas.
  • Apply ice control materials to maintain safe driving and walking conditions.
  • Operate assigned snow removal equipment safely around customer and airport traffic.
  • Perform pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections and report mechanical issues.
  • Follow all airport, Aramark, and safety procedures during snow events.
  • Monitor weather conditions and adjust snow removal activities as directed.
  • Assist with equipment preparation, staging, and cleanup before and after storms.
  • Communicate with supervisors regarding site conditions, equipment status, and operational needs.
  • Maintain awareness of pedestrians, parked vehicles, and moving traffic while working.
  • Support other snow and ice management activities as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Ability to pass a basic motor vehicle/driving history review.
  • Ability to work outdoors in cold, snowy, and changing weather conditions.
  • Ability to work either 3:00 AM to 3:00 PM or 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM shifts during snow events.
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance during winter weather operations.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and perform physical work for extended periods.
  • Ability to safely lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.

Preferred

  • Experience operating plow trucks, skid steers, front-end loaders, or other heavy equipment.
  • Snow removal, groundskeeping, landscaping, dirt work, construction, maintenance, or equipment operator experience.
  • Knowledge of snow and ice management practices.
  • Bilingual communication skills.
  • Experience working in safety-sensitive or high-traffic environments.
