The Hospice Liaison will develop, oversee, and manage specialty programs. The position will drive business development for clinical marketing programs. The Executive will collaborate with the marketing team to drive program growth and implementation. They will support and transition potential referrals and/or clients to be admitted to the agency. This position is also responsible to build great working relationships with agency’s partners and vendors that will help census growth, increased market share, and improve care quality outcomes. 


 Position & Responsibilities: 

  • Develop, oversee, manage, and implement specialty programs for Hospice.
  • Educates the community about home care, specialty programs, and their benefits 
  • Program management for Inc. and specialty programs as assigned  
  • Works with Marketing team to build entire service territory through implementation of clinical marketing programs 
  • Support Provider Relations Coordinator, Premise Marketers, and Clinical Liaison as needed
  • Develops and provides In-service programs to healthcare professionals about other healthcare alternatives that are cost-effective and produce good outcomes
  • Acts as a liaison between the agency and its referral sources
  • Solicit referrals from new and existing referral sources. Continue to build territory and business relationships
  • Acts as a customer service liaison to referral sources. 
  • Advocates for patient rights and handles referral source’s issues within their scope of responsibility
  • Participates in community programs to help educate and empower the community of their rights
  • Services as a role model for employees and maintains a professional image at all times
  • Performs projects that may be assigned by leadership
  • Performs research and prepares agency reports
  • Participates in agency’s training and development programs
  • Complies with agency Policies and Procedures as well as Employee Handbook detailing Human Resources policies
  • Participates in exercises and drills for emergency preparedness, as required.

Requirements

  • 5 years prior sales and industry experience 
  • Preferred clinical experience
  • Current CPR certification
  • Good clerical and organizational skills
  • Possesses adequate and effective interpersonal skills
  • Effective with both verbal and written communication
  • College degree preferred
