POSITION OVERVIEWÂ
The Commercial Junior Escrow Officer supports National Escrow Officers in the preparation and closing of complex commercial real estate transactions, both local and national. This role is responsible for assisting with all aspects of the escrow process, including customer service, file management, document preparation, and post-closing disbursements. The position requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.Â

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESÂ
Assist National Escrow Officers with the preparation and closing of complex commercial real estate transactions on a local and national levelÂ
Provide timely and professional customer service to clients, realtors, lenders, and attorneys throughout the escrow processÂ
Open new escrow orders and enter transaction data accurately into escrow systemsÂ
Request, collect, and review documentation necessary for closingÂ
Prepare escrow documents, settlement statements, and related closing materials in accordance with company policies, underwriting guidelines, and applicable state and federal regulationsÂ
Review title commitments and documents, identify title requirements, and assist in formulating curative solutions as neededÂ
Maintain complete and accurate escrow files and records in compliance with company standardsÂ
Perform administrative and paperless processing functions related to escrow transactionsÂ
Coordinate and process post-closing disbursements and ensure proper file completionÂ
Exercise independent judgment to address and resolve issues that may arise during the escrow and closing processÂ
Collaborate effectively with internal teams to meet closing timelines and customer expectationsÂ
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSÂ
High School Diploma or equivalentÂ
Valid State Producer’s LicenseÂ
Minimum of 3+ years’ experience as a Residential Escrow Officer, Escrow Assistant, or Commercial Escrow AssistantÂ
Working knowledge of escrow and title industry concepts, practices, and proceduresÂ
Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficientlyÂ
Exceptional verbal and written communication skillsÂ
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilitiesÂ
Ability to work independently as a self-starter while contributing to a team-oriented environmentÂ
Ability to calculate figures such as interest, commissions, prorations, rents, and escrow/title feesÂ
PREFERRED EXPERIENCEÂ
Prior experience assisting with commercial escrow transactionsÂ
Familiarity with title standards and company underwriting guidelinesÂ
Experience reviewing legal documents and analyzing them as they relate to escrow and closingÂ
Experience working in a paperless escrow environmentÂ
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and external customersÂ
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
FNF, its affiliates, and subsidiaries carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, specialty, experience, and work location. Based on location and job-related factors such as skillset and experience, this position has the potential to earn compensation in the range of $25.00 – $33.00 hourly.
