As a Leasing Consultant, you manage your own success by attaining leasing goals, such as occupancy and rent growth, and by building rapport with prospects and residents.

Job Description

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:Ā 

  • Generate interest in the community by touring the property with prospects as you answer questions about theĀ numerousĀ amenities, local community, and beautiful grounds.Ā 

  • Drive the sale by highlighting the quality of the community and the lifestyle of an apartment home.Ā 

  • AssistĀ prospects in qualifying for an apartment home by collectingĀ appropriate informationĀ andĀ initiatingĀ background checks.Ā 

  • Ensure apartments are prepared for move-in.Ā 

  • Deliver unmatched service to residents to exceed their expectations, whileĀ maintainingĀ resident retention.Ā 

  • You will alsoĀ useĀ your attention to detail,Ā planningĀ and organizing skills to perform required office activities and coordinate paperwork related to apartment home rentals.Ā 

  • Other duties as assigned.Ā

WORK ENVIRONMENTĀ 

This jobĀ operatesĀ in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filingĀ cabinetsĀ and fax machines. Regularly required to travel outside between properties in varying weather conditions.Ā 

PHYSICAL DEMANDSĀ 

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may need to stand and walk for extended or continuous periods of time. They must be able to ascend and descend staircases, ladders, and/or step stools and may beĀ requiredĀ to travel outside between buildings in varying outdoor weather conditions.Ā The employee may also be regularlyĀ requiredĀ to remain in a stationary position (sit or stand) for 85% of the time; regularlyĀ operateĀ office machinery.Ā MustĀ be able to travel up to 5% of the time. Travel may vary in frequency and duration.Ā
