The role you’ll contribute: 

Responsible for the management of clinical nursing practices and patient care delivery on the assigned unit(s), this role focuses on the daily operations and overall goals of a unit or department through effective resource management, including human, fiscal, material, support, and systems resources. The position encompasses coordination of total nursing care for patients, active participation in patient and family teaching, and the provision of leadership by collaborating with ancillary departments and other patient care personnel to uphold professional nursing practice standards in the clinical setting. Responsibilities also include overseeing staffing, training, serving as a liaison with physicians, hospital personnel, and departments, and reporting to the designated director. The role is crucial for establishing and leading Performance Improvement Initiatives, conducting chart reviews, and audits to ensure the highest standards of care and compliance. The position demands a high level of integrity, a willingness to embrace new challenges, and a commitment to associate engagement, consistently promoting a positive work environment by being accessible to all staff levels and customers. Support for associate development is emphasized, with a focus on evidence-based practice and education, alongside demonstrated knowledge of management and clinical practice to provide and evaluate patient care. This role requires the ability to maintain quality control standards, react calmly and effectively in emergency situations, interpret, adapt, and apply guidelines and procedures, and exhibit excellent problem-solving, record-keeping, report writing, and interpersonal skills to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.

  • Conduct on evaluation of productivity and collaborate with finance to forecast revenue and expenses to prepare and manage the unit/department’s budget.

  • Ensure appropriate staffing plan matching competency with patient acuity.

  • Focus on patient safety, patient experience, and performance improvement in alignment with unit/department goals Involve associates in decision through shared governance structure.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with associates, physicians, and patients.

  • Bachelor's of Nursing 

  • Registered Nurse (RN)

  • Basic Life Support - (BLS)
