We are currently seeking a Real Estate Paralegal to join our Denver office.
The ideal candidate is a highly organized professional with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple real estate matters while meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:Â
- Draft, review or summarize purchase and sale agreements, deeds, easements, estoppel certificates, owner’s affidavits and other real estate documents.
- Perform and coordinate property due diligence, including review of title, survey, and zoning. Â
- Prepare title and survey objection letters, coordinate with title company and surveyor to address issues and finalize title and survey.
- Communicate with clients on transaction status and other assigned matters.
- Manage key dates and deadlines on active deals.
- Order UCC, lien, litigation and similar searches and analyze search reports.
- Prepare entity formation documents and resolutions.Â
- Lead closings for commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and financings, including preparation and management of closing checklists, signature page packages, and final closing documents.
- Coordinate with title companies, clients, opposing counsel, lenders, and other transaction parties to ensure closing documents are executed, delivered, and finalized in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate, organized files and electronic records.
- Accurately record daily time worked, and enter time and description for client matters in time entry system.
Job Requirements:
- Associates degree or Bachelor’s degree with a major in paralegal studies, orÂ
- A Bachelor’s degree with an unrelated major, and have:
- A certificate from an ABA approved paralegal training program specializing in the area for which the candidate is being considered; or
- Two years’ experience in the area of specialization for which the candidate is being considered or other comparable experience; or
- Unique qualifications, experience, or training which fill a specific need within FBT Gibbons.
- A Bachelor’s degree with an unrelated major, and have:
- Five to ten years of experience as a real estate paralegal, including experience with title review.
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Teams, NetDocs, Kofax and other programs used in practice area.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Efficient delivery of high-quality work product.
- Professional communication skills.
- Ability to work overtime.

The pay range for this role accounts for the wide range of factors considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. For applicants physically based in Denver, a reasonable estimate of the current range is $45.00 - $72.12 hourly ($93,600 - $150,000 annually, based on a 40-hour workweek). Â Actual pay will be determined based on skills, relevant experience and other job-related factors, consistent with applicable employment laws.
