Job Summary
Program participants spend 9 months in Women’s Bean Project’s transitional job-readiness training program. During this time, you will work as a Production Assistant in our dry-food manufacturing operation, gaining hands-on experience, building strong transferable skills, and developing the professional behaviors expected in today’s entry-level workplaces.
In addition to on-the-job training, you will attend classes focused on computer skills, financial literacy, GED preparation, career coaching, resume writing, mock interviews, and coping skills. You will also meet weekly with a WBP case manager to set goals, address challenges outside of work, and stay supported throughout your journey.
Our program is designed for women who are ready to make a change, focus on their future, and grow with the support of a dedicated team. WBP is a space for growth, accountability, and real progress. This journey takes commitment and hard work, but you won’t be doing it alone. Show up for yourself, and we’ll meet you with structure, resources, and a community invested in your success.
