The Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Sr. Project Architect/Sr Project Manager to lead a talented team of Architects, Engineers and Interior Designers in our Denver, CO office. #LI-RM2

 

 

RS&H is currently seeking an experienced licensed architect to join our team. This position will have the ability to work a hybrid schedule of in-office and remote. As part of the Buildings team, you'll serve an integral role in the firm by defining structural or project elements and processes to meet client needs; participating in and coordinating estimates and proposal/bid preparations; ensuring performance to contracts through shared planning and monitoring of work orders and deliverables with engineering, construction, and other disciplines; planning and developing architectural projects concerning unique and/or controversial complexities; participating in the conceptual design and providing full support through the entire project; coordinating with project management, other architects, and leadership on appropriate technical solutions and product strategies; promoting and maintaining client relationships through all project phases and serving as a firm ambassador in helping to win new work; developing and representing lead technical viewpoint on projects and serving as a SME on specialized systems; reviewing junior staff's work for technical accuracy and providing technical guidance to other professionals and technicians; and performing quality control reviews, field reviews, inspections, and observations of ongoing construction projects. This position may also lead a multidisciplinary team to complete projects and/or manage a small team of direct reports.

 

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Have a degree in architecture from an NAAB accredited program or equivalent experience.
  • Have 10-years' experience, including working on parts of major projects or multiple, moderate-sized projects, providing technical guidance to entry/junior-level staff, reviewing others' work for technical accuracy, and participating in the design and implementation of new products, processes, standards, and/or operational plans that had great impact on the achievement of functional results.
  • Possess an active license in good standing and demonstrate knowledge of state and local building codes, zoning laws, fire regulations, and other relevant ordinances.
  • Be proficient in production software and construction document production.
  • Have a passion for formulating and solving problems with timely and innovative solutions.
  • Have proven ability successfully addressing challenging issues in a sound professional and business-like manner. 
  • Possess strong oral and written communication skills and have the ability to effectively interact with and build strong relationships with clients, customers, contractors, team members, and other key stakeholders.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Master’s degree from an accredited institution in a relavant area of focus.

The salary for this position in Colorado ranges from $ 112,000.00 to $ 184,800.00 annually.  However, the selected individual’s compensation will be determined based on their specific education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
